Paypal makes PAN CARD mandatory for transactions

Indians have been facing quite a tough time with paypal and things don’t look to be easing out. After so many changes in the policies of paypal , recently paypal has made compulsary to enter PAN card number to withdraw money from them.

Is PAYPAL making changes wantedly ??

Many experts  and even paypal representatives have said that the changes are made according to the demands from RBI(Reserve Bank of India).  RBI has made strict orders to paypal as loads of  money is being transferred from around the globe to India via paypal. It seems that they(RBI) want to have full account of money being transferred trough paypal.

How is this compulsion Executed?

Earlier most of the Indians who have not registerd their PAN card with paypal, would have to take a bypass for reaching the home page.

The above page had to be skimmed.

Now while you withdraw cash from your paypal account, the withdrawing page has been changed . You will need to enter PAN card No. to withdraw, else it will show an error.

You will get following error if you dont enter the PAN CARD no.

SO fellow bloggers and others who use Paypal are left with no option but to enter their PAN card details.

If you don’t  have one do apply soon.
